Jan 6, 2012 - May I kill him?
Movie night, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo night. I think it's an awesome crime story. The scene towards the end of the movie when Martin Vanger (Stellan Skarsgard) confronted Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) was a real showstopper. The scripts were not too much but the audiences could feel the fear (in Mikael) and the arrogance (in Martin) in their body posture and unspoken language. I also think that Rooney Mara interpreted very well the punk and rebelious Lisbeth Salander. I have not (yet) read Stieg Larsson's millennium novels, not sure if the movie has done justice to original story though, it's more than good enough for me & Alan. One thing to warn you though, it's a category III movie. Not bloody violent but very brutal and the abuses could make some people very uncomfortable. Just be prepared okay.

Today continuous to be a freakly cold day. I asked for a few more 1-page calendars from my friend for my other friends. We have 'high tea' at the new TWG tea house in IFC. I walk pass the shop windows all the time and the scones are mouth-watering and inviting. So we ordered tea (I have Indian Darjeeling black) and of course scones which came with green tea jelly and whipped cream. It was sooooooo delicious and not surprisingly, not cheap at all.
