The Watchmen

Watchmen is a 2009 superhero film directed by Zack Snyder. Based on the 1986-1987 comic book limited series Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Set in an alternate-history 1985, Watchmen follows a group of former vigilantes as tensions heighten between the United States and the Soviet Union while an investigation of an apparent conspiracy against them uncovers something even more grandiose and sinister.

When an ex-superhero is murdered, a vigilante named Rorschach begins an investigation into the murder, which begins to lead to a much more terrifying conclusion.

Dan Dreiberg: [examining blood stained happy face badge] Is this BEAN juice?
Rorschach: Human BEING juice...

"Watchmen. One of us died tonight. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows. "

EXCELLENT!

I had no knowledge of the Watchmen comic ever before. The 1st time I laid eyes on the movie poster, I was not interested at the least. Well there was no other better movie these days, we thought, at least this would be better than Dragonball. So we went without a lot of expectation, although it was the top blockbuster in the U.S.

It surprised us. A very good movie. I can't really say what makes it so loveable and it just is. All characters are very special. I like Rorschach the most. And the special effects while are overwhelming but you probably would feel like what I have felt, very natural. It's a very special movie and special story. I will probably own this DVD or Blueray....
