Changeling

Changeling is a 2008 American drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and written by J. Michael Straczynski. Set in 1928 Los Angeles, the film is based on the true story of a woman who is reunited with her kidnapped son—only to realize he is an impostor. After confronting the city authorities, she is vilified as an unfit mother and branded delusional. The incident was related to the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, a kidnapping and murder case uncovered in 1928.

Changeling trailer

"The boy they brought back is not my son."

"I used to tell Walter, "Never start a fight... but always finish it." I didn't start this fight... but by God, I'm going to finish it."

I tell everyone that one must watch this movie. Clint Eastwood is really amazing. All his movies are so special. It's a long movie and usually Alan would fall asleep at some time. Not this one. We were held captive by the story. Angelina is good but I guess she's not that Oscar good. I like watching John Malkovich. He could be serious and he could be hilarious. This is a movie of hope, of love, of determination. I still wonder had Walter Collins died?
