Australia

It is a beautiful picture. The film is a character story, set between 1939 and 1942 against a dramatised backdrop of events across Northern Australia at the time, such as the bombing of Darwin in Australia during World War II.

Australia Trailer

Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be.

I did not have a keen interest to see this movie. It was Alan who was always saying he wanted to so we went. Turned out we both liked the movie very much. 160 minutes passed with just an eye blink. The characters including the child who played the aboriginal child were all so good. The horses, cattles, war, bombs..... And I read some materials on web and learnt that originall Heath Ledger was casted but backed out to do The Black Knight.
