Luxemburg / La Dame Blanche

We had breakfast at 8:30am and left at around 11am.  We headed north to Luxembourg (126km) today.

 

It was a rainy day again and Luxembourg was a metropolitan city.  We walked around the shopping area and had lunch there and left.  Well, of course I also did the LV shopping here as I had got a full shopping list of bags and wallets etc from our colleagues.  Got most of the items here.

 

The men said to try Pizza Hut in Europe to see if they were any better.  Then we had lunch in Pizza Hut.  It was okay and cheap.  We left I believed at around 3pm to our next chambre in Vintrange, La Dame Blanche (147km), further east from Paris.

La Dame Blanche is a beautiful chambre d'hotes.  I am so glad that we decided to stay here.  The hosts, Claudieu and Daniel are real nice French.  Daniel talked to us in body language, a universal language :) and Claudieu's English is good enough to communicate fully with us... it's a shame that none of us knows any French!  We also had dinner with Claudieu & Daniel.  We drank again, of course... It was Alan's birthday and later we found that it was Daniel's birthday too!  We opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate the men's b'day after the big and delicious meal.  Got a stomach full of wine and good food when we were going to sleep!
